Crisis support
If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline; text 988), or call 911 if you are in immediate danger or go to the nearest emergency room. This website is not monitored for emergencies.
The consultation is a free 15-minute phone conversation to discuss what is bringing you to therapy, what you hope will change, and what kind of support you are seeking. You can ask questions about my approach and the practical details of getting started. The goal is simply to determine whether working together feels like a thoughtful next step.
My approach bridges reason and heart, combining practical, evidence-based tools with deep warmth and empathy. I am an active partner in the room, not a passive observer who just nods. Together, we look closely at what is working, untangle what feels stuck, and build concrete strategies you can use in daily life.
Our work is collaborative, supportive, and very human. We tackle meaningful goals, but you never have to pretend you have everything together. Having room to breathe, laugh when appropriate, and just be yourself takes off the pressure and makes real progress possible.
Not at all. Many people begin therapy with a general sense that something feels off, overwhelming, repetitive, or harder than it should. Part of our work may be clarifying what is happening and identifying where change would make the greatest difference.
Most clients begin meeting weekly to build momentum and establish practical skills. Standard individual sessions are 45–50 minutes, though couples work, intensive sessions, or specialized treatments may run 60–90 minutes. Overall frequency and duration are tailored collaboratively based on your goals and progress.
I do not accept insurance directly. I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Because coverage varies significantly by provider and policy, I encourage you to contact your insurance carrier prior to our first session to verify your specific out-of-network benefits.
Both! I offer limited in-person sessions in Miami and Broward, as well as secure virtual telehealth sessions for clients located anywhere in the state of Florida.
You can begin by sending a note via the contact form to schedule a consultation. Reaching out does not require you to commit to therapy or to know exactly what to say. It is simply a first conversation about what is happening and whether I may be able to help. I look forward to hearing from you!
